Ask the Angels

Karen asks: I want to switch gears in my professional career and I have a strong intuition that I need to find a business partner. How do I know if that’s truly my intuition/nudge from the angels, or if I’m just doubting in my ability to conduct my business alone? I’m not typically someone who likes to work alone. If I find that working with someone is in my best interest, I would like to find that person right away. How can I use the wisdom of the angels to find the right person?
 
Sarah answers: This is a wonderful time embark on a new journey by utilizing your creativity to develop the perfect career. You have so many wonderful ideas brewing in regards to how you can use your gifts to serve the community. My sense is that you’re very confident in your abilities and you’re aware of your talents and short comings. You thrive off of learning and growing with colleagues who have the same drive and vision, but offer a different lens than your own.
 
Karen, you have intuitive gifts that have been serving you your entire life. I’m hearing from the angels that you have always been able to access deep knowledge and self-awareness since childhood. The pivotal decisions you’ve made as an adult have been based on your intuition and the outcome of your decisions have been positive. Ha! An angel appeared on the screen after I wrote that sentence as a way to confirm that the information I’m channeling is correct.
 
This leads me to my next point.  You can ask the angels for signs of confirmation to determine whether or not you’re accessing intuition.  Often when I’m writing this column or giving an intuitive reading and a feeling of doubt creeps up, an angel will appear in a flash right before me on the computer screen or beside my client. I also receive other visual or auditory signs of confirmation. Your intuition is clairsentient in nature (psychic knowing through feelings). Signs from the angels that you are following your truth are feelings of joy, giddiness, and excitement when you consider your idea. You may also feel chills throughout your body and at the top of your head. Angel guidance will also come through in your dreams if they haven’t already. If you are basing your decision on self-doubt, you would feel tightness in your heart and stomach areas, heaviness as though someone placed an anvil on your shoulders, and/or feeling a sense of sadness.
 
The angels are showing me a vision where you are sitting in a quiet place and holding a journal. Your eyes are closed, and you’re dropping into your breath. After settling into a deep sense of calm, ask yourself why you would like to find a business partner, and free write your response. Your answer will likely reveal insecurities, such as “I’m afraid to embark on this journey alone”, or “I’m not confident that I’ll always make the best business decisions”, because it’s normal to have some insecurities when starting something new. If all or most of your answers are along those lines, then that’s a good sign that self-doubt is clouding your judgement. Yet I see most of your answers coming from a place of excitement, such as “I love the idea of combining my gifts with a colleague”, or “My ideal partner and I will create something beautiful together”.
 
If you decide to find a business partner, the angels are telling me a number of things.  First you have to consider what you want in a partner before you recruit someone. Draw a silhouette on a piece of paper. In the space where the face would be, write a description of how you would like the person to think. For example, they are able to brainstorm new ideas, make decisions quickly, they’re open minded, etc…Then write descriptions of ways in which you would like your partner to operate from his/her heart: They are passionate about being of service, they value people of all cultures/socioeconomic backgrounds, etc…
 
Consider ways in which your partner can complement your skills and visualize working with your partner. Ask the angels to bring you a person who embodies everything you’ve envisioned in the ideal partner and more. Call upon Archangel Chamuel to assist you, as he helps with career related issues. Then you’ll be ready to go about finding that person using concrete methods such as networking, putting a message out on Facebook, and attending meetup groups. If you’re able to trust that the right person will be presented to you at the right time, you will find her easily.
